Propulsion System Lead Engineer (w/m/d)

Location: Ulm

Start: ab sofort

Tasks:

  • Champion the functional architecture for Propulsion Engineering. 
  • Establish system requirements, DVP&R strategies, and maintain system architecture and Technical Performance Specifications (TPS). 
  • Model product development based on V-Cycle processes. 
  • Guide the system verification and quality design processes, ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulations. 
  • Leverage data analytics pipelines for enhanced propulsion system insights and performance management strategies 
  • Lead a team of engineers and specialists, providing mentorship, guidance, and fostering cross-functional collaboration. 
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the propulsion requirements, propulsion simulation, and validation processes. 
 

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Engineering – Electrical, Mechanical, or related field. 
  • Extensive automotive industry experience, including powertrain engineering. 
  • Expertise in requirement management, system architecture, and validation. 
  • Strong program and project management skills within the automotive sector. 
  • Functional knowledge of electric and fuel cell propulsion components and integration. 
  • Proficiency in FMEA, PLM, Project Quality Management, and relevant tools. 
  • Strong communication skills in English; German and/or Italian is a plus.
