Software Development Manager (f/m/d)

location: Ulm, Unterschleißheim

Start: ab sofort

Tasks:

  • Develop custom and innovative software tailored to meet the unique requirements of battery-electric and fuel-cell trucks.
  • Manage application software development for Powertrain, Thermal and Body control functions.
  • Lead a team of model-based software developers, SW unit integrators and testers for high quality and timely delivery.
  • Implement and ensure adherence to an ISO26262- and ASPICE-compliant software development process.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally in SW release management, program management, vehicle SW V&V, and vehicle SW integration.
  • Identify potential risks in software development processes and implement mitigation strategies to safeguard project success.
 

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Engineering – Software, Computer Science or a related field.
  • Extensive automotive industry experience developing and managing embedded controls systems.
  • Demonstrated expertise in successfully bringing safety-critical automotive embedded controller software into production.
  • Expert level understanding of Simulink and Stateflow; Functional knowledge of C.
  • Experience managing in an agile work environment with aggressive company targets.
  • Excellent leadership and program management skills, with the ability to effectively manage diverse teams.
  • Strong communication skills in English; proficiency in additional languages such as German or Italian is a plus.
