High Voltage Systems Test Engineer (w/m/d)

location: Ulm

Start: ab sofort

Tasks:

  • Create and manage benchmarking test lists, providing support with instrumentation setup and test planning,
  • Develop High Voltage (HV) System Test Cases starting from HV System Requirements (RQs), ensuring comprehensive coverage and validation.
  • Organize test cases into a comprehensive Test Plan, updating and monitoring progress throughout the testing phases.
  • Design test methods and procedures to validate HV system functions, collaborating cross-functionally.
  • Design and upkeep of HV Integration Test benches ensuring optimal performance.
  • Schedule testing activities for test benches, vehicles, and resources based on the established Test Plan.
  • Diagnosis and troubleshoot issues related to HV system during testing activities.
 

Requirements:

  • Master's Degree in Engineering – Electrical, Electronics, Controls, Mechatronics or a related field. 
  • Several years of hands-on vehicle testing experience; Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) or Fuel Cell Electric Vehicle (FCEV) experience strongly preferred. 
  • Experience creating test procedures and DVP/Rs. 
  • Knowledge of HW/SW related to high and low voltage component functions; Formal training and certification in high voltage systems strongly preferred. 
  • Proficiency with system requirement tools and CAN tools (ex. Jama, Jira, Canalyzer) 
  • Fluent in English, additional languages – German and/or Italian is a plus. 
  • Availability to travel as needed, mainly within Europe.
