Electronics System Architect (m/f/d)

Your responsiblities:

  • Manage the transition of vehicle E/E architectures toward domain, cross-domain and centralized solutions, including zonal ECUs, vehicle controllers and cloud integration.
  • Design and deploy vehicle functionalities and E/E architectures using Systems Engineering methodologies, aligned with customer needs and internal development processes.
  • Define and allocate requirements from logical to physical E/E architecture elements, ensuring full traceability in collaboration with networking and electrical distribution experts.
  • Work closely with Functional Safety and Cybersecurity teams to review system concepts, architectures and requirements allocation.
  • Support Function and Component Owners in defining functional and component-level requirements, ensuring compliance with safety, security, quality standards and global development processes.
  • Interface with suppliers through technology scouting, RFI/RFQ activities and roadmap evaluations, supporting solution selection, cost estimation and innovation adoption.
 

Your Profil:

    • MS/BS Degree in Engineering (Electronics, Telecommunications, Automation, Mechatronics, Software, IT or similar).
    • At least 2 years of experience in Automotive E/E Systems Engineering. Commercial Vehicles experience is a plus.
    • Bird view analytical mindset with solid knowledge of vehicle E/E architectures and main electronic domains.
    • Solid experience in requirements writing and management, including use of Requirements Management tools (e.g. Polarion, DOORS). Model-Based Systems Engineering (SysML) is a plus.
    • Basic knowledge of automotive networks and protocols (LIN, CAN/CAN-FD, Ethernet) and related standards, tools and diagnostics (SAE J1939, UDS…).
    • Basic knowledge of Functional Safety (i.e. ISO 26262), Cybersecurity standards.
    • Strong communication, teamwork and leadership skills; proactive and innovation-driven mindset.
    • Fluent English required. Availability for short international trips.
