For EVCO GmbH we are looking for a*n

Controls Lead Engineer (f/m/d)

location: Ulm, Unterschleißheim

Start: ab sofort

Tasks:

  • Provide technical leadership for a team of engineers developing model-based vehicle control software
  • Develop, implement, and optimize control algorithms for Powertrain, Thermal and Body systems
  • Perform unit-testing of the software you develop
  • Integrate and test your control algorithms on benches and in vehicles
  • Perform limited calibration of control software
  • Collaborate with other controls engineers, firmware engineers, and integration engineers
  • Support the creation of software requirements
 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor or Master in an engineering or controls related field
  • Several years of experience developing control algorithms and software for vehicle applications, preferably EVs
  • Strong knowledge in MATLAB/Simulink
  • Strong background in Model-Based system design in MATLAB/Simulink environment
  • Strong background in auto-code generation in MATLAB/Simulink environment
  • Functional knowledge of Git
  • English fluency
